Tips:
• Use a ower setting when toast ng a sing e bread slice or slightly dry bread
• Use a higher setting when toasting fresh or whole wheat bread
When toasting raisin or other fruit breads, remove any oose raisins from the surface of the bread
before placing into the toaster
Cut bread into standard size (3 94 x 3 94 x 0 39 inch) to avoid uneven toast
Removing Toast
Caution! Bread slices and parts Of the app iance get very hot and stay hot for some time after
operation
• DO not use conductive tools, such as a fork, to remove toast from the appliance as this may
damage the heating elements
Removing Lodged Toast
f toast is Odged inside the appliance, lift the lever to raise the toast; If toast is still
press the CANCEL button and disconnect the power plug from wa outlet
Wait until the appliance has cooed completely
Remove toast careful y and take care not to damage the heating elements.
