Troubleshooting

The user guide provides solutions for common issues:

  1. Scanner cannot be activated:
    • Cable Connection: Ensure the USB cable is firmly connected to both the device (a crisp sound should be heard) and the computer's USB port. If not powered on, try connecting to a USB port at the back of the host computer.
  2. Data is not uploaded:
    • USB Cable Connection: Verify the USB cable is successfully connected to the computer (a prompt sound should confirm connection).
    • Driver Installation: The driver should install automatically upon first connection. After installation, scan a code to test for a decoding prompt sound.
    • USB Keyboard Setting: If decoding is normal but data isn't uploaded, scan the "USB Keyboard" barcode in the Setup manual.
    • Recall Default and Re-plug: If there is no response after scanning, scan "Recall default" and then re-plug the device.
    • Technical Support: If issues persist after re-powering or scanning setting codes, contact the dealer for technical support.
