ofyourchair.Forreliableoperationthereshouldbeaclearline-of-sightpathfromtheremote
controltothefrontofthetuner.

relevantsections.However,thehandsetisalsoequippedwithtwofunctions(SCANand
PRESET)thatarenotfoundonfrontpanel.Theoperationsofthesefunctionsaredescribed
asfollows:
TheSCANhastwobuttonsthatallowyoutotuneupanddowntheAMofFMradiospectrum.
Pressthe''buttontotunetowardhigherfrequenciesor''buttontotunetowardlower
frequencies.WhentheSCANbuttonsarepressedmomentarily(<0.5second),thetuned
frequencyshiftsupordownbyonestep.WhentheSCANbuttonsarepressedandheld
morethan0.5second,thetunerwillscaninastation-by-stationmoderatherthaninsmall
tuningsteps.
Oncethefrequenciesoffavoritestations(upto30ineitherFMorAM)havebeenstoredin
thisunit.ToseehowtosetupmemorystationspleaserefertoMEMORYdescription.
Then,justpressthePRESETbuttonsandthestationsinthememoryoftheunitcanbeeasily
Mostbuttonsontheremotecontrolproducethesameeffectasthecorresponding
buttononthefrontpanelofthetuner.
