If the Amerec Iron control won't turn on and the control light is off, ensure the circuit breaker is on and supplying 230V. Use a voltmeter to check for 230V across the two fuses on the PCA printed circuit assembly. Inspect the fuses on the PCA and replace any blown fuses with a 100 mA Time Delay (F1) or a 1A Non-Time Delay (F2) fuse. If the fuse blows again, contact AMEREC'S Service Department. You can also use a small screwdriver to press the button on the limit switch through the hole in the PCA near T1 to reset it. Turn off power to the generator, check the control(s) are installed per the instructions, then re-apply power and test the operation. If problems persist, contact AMEREC'S Service Department to replace the PCA printed circuit assembly, control cable or the control.
