      Adam HowardJul 31, 2025
If a valid access code isn't opening the gate with your American Access Systems Intercom System, first, locate the two wires attached to the Brown and Orange wires on the main wire harness and touch them together. If the gate still doesn't open, inspect the wiring or connection terminals on the gate operator. If the gate opens when you touch the wires together, contact American Access Systems.

      Keith WhitakerAug 16, 2025
To resolve the issue of the gate closing or cycling open and shut after entering the latch code on your American Access Systems Intercom System, an open override circuit must be enabled in the gate operator. This prevents the timer circuit from overriding the keypad when it is in a latch mode. Contact the Gate Operator manufacturer for assistance.

To troubleshoot a non-responsive keypad on your American Access Systems Intercom System: - Verify power input across the two white wires on the main harness. - Check the blue night light LEDs to see if they are on. - Inspect the circuit board for burn marks from a lighting surge. If problems persist, contact American Access Systems, Inc.
