Why won't my American Fab 9000TB Portable Generator start?

  There are several reasons why your generator might not be starting. First, ensure the On/Off switch is in the ‘On’ position and the Fuel Valve is also in the ‘ON’ position. Check if the unit is out of fuel, or the fuel is stale; if so, replenish or drain and refill the fuel tank. Inspect the air filter for dirt and clean it if necessary. Also, make sure the speed control is set to “Run”, and that the oil level is adequate. If using recoil start, ensure you are using enough speed and force following the directions. Finally, the battery may be dead and needs charging or replacing. If water is in the fuel, drain and refill the tank.
