If the Amiea Med Medical Equipment handpiece or device indicates an overload and shuts down, several issues could be the cause. First, ensure the handpiece cable is properly connected at the rear of the control unit. If a safety needle cartridge is used, check its connection, and replace it if necessary. Also, verify that the needle protrusion depth is correct and reduce it if it’s set too deep, while adhering to clinical precautions. Finally, electromagnetic disturbances can affect puncture frequency; consult chapter 16 on electromagnetic compatibility for guidance.
