instructions for ladders and scaffolding. Failure to do so could result in injury or death.

injury, product or property damage.
· Windows and doors can be heavy. Use safe lifting techniques and a reasonable number of people with enough strength
to lift, carry, and install window and door products. Heavier windows and doors will require mechanical assistance. Failure
to do so could result in injury, product or property damage.
· Metal fasteners and components could corrode when exposed to preservative-treated or fire-retardant treated lumber.
Use approved fasteners and components to fasten window or door. Failure to do so could cause a failure resulting in
injury, product or property damage.

Summary

Hinge Replacement

Remove and Replace Hinge

Remove and replace only one hinge at a time to prevent door panel falling and potential injury.

Attach New Hinge to Frame

Fasten the replacement hinge to the door frame using specified screws in top, bottom, and center holes.

Attach New Hinge to Door Panel

Secure the new hinge to the door panel using the provided #10 x 1-3/4 inch screws.

Hinge and Hardware Adjustments

Panel Horizontal Adjustment

Adjust door panel side-to-side to ensure an equal gap between the panel and frame on both sides.

Panel Vertical Adjustment

Adjust door panel up-and-down to achieve an equal gap at the top and bottom of the frame.

Blocker Adjustment

Adjust the blocker to align its lower surface with the pencil mark on the latch receiver.

Tab Adjustment

Adjust tabs in receivers for adequate weatherstrip compression when the door panel is closed.
