This document provides instructions for the Amore mirror, designed by Space Copenhagen in 2018, and manufactured by &Tradition.

Function Description:

The Amore mirror is a decorative and functional item intended for interior use. It is designed to be wall-mounted and comes in various sizes and shapes to suit different spaces and aesthetic preferences. The mirror serves the primary function of reflection, while also acting as a design element within a room.

Important Technical Specifications:

The Amore mirror is available in three models, each with distinct dimensions:

• SC49: Ø115 (diameter 115 cm)
• SC50: 190x60 (190 cm in length, 60 cm in width)
• SC56: Ø70 (diameter 70 cm)

The package includes the chosen mirror model, two nylon plugs, and two slotted screws. The supplied nylon plugs are specifically suitable for drywall or concrete walls. For other wall types, users are advised to obtain appropriate screws and plugs.

Usage Features:

• Installation: The installation process involves marking the placement on the wall using a spirit level, drilling holes, inserting plugs, and then mounting the mirror onto the screws.
• Orientation (SC50): The Amore SC50 model offers flexibility in installation as it can be hung both vertically and horizontally. This allows for adaptability to different wall spaces and design layouts.
• Screw Placement: The distance between the screws varies depending on the mirror model and, for SC50, its orientation:
  • Amore SC49: 75 cm
  • Amore SC50 (vertical): 44 cm
  • Amore SC50 (horizontal): 179 cm
  • Amore SC56: 40 cm
• Safety during Installation: Due to the size and weight of the mirrors, it is explicitly stated that two or more adults are required to lift and mount the mirror safely. Users must ensure that the screw heads protrude sufficiently from the wall to provide an adequate grip for the mirror's suspension mounts.
• Wall Type Compatibility: The provided plugs are only for drywall or concrete walls. Users must ensure they use the correct type of screws and plugs for their specific wall material to ensure secure mounting.

Maintenance Features:

• Mirror Cleaning: For cleaning the mirror surface, household glass cleaner is recommended. To prevent damage to the mirror frame, the glass cleaner should always be sprayed onto a soft cloth first, and then the mirror should be cleaned with the cloth. Direct spraying onto the mirror is to be avoided.
• Frame Cleaning: The mirror frame should be wiped with a soft, damp sponge or cloth, and then immediately wiped dry with a dry cloth.
• Prohibited Cleaning Agents/Tools:
  • Abrasive cleaning tools such as steel wool, scouring sponges, or stiff brushes must not be used.
  • Strong cleaning agents like white spirit, turpentine, household glass cleaner (when applied directly to the frame), or cellulose thinners are prohibited on the mirror frame.

General Safety Precautions:

• Packaging Disposal: The plastic bag from the packaging should be disposed of properly and kept away from children to prevent suffocation hazards.
• Child Safety: The product should be kept well out of children's reach.
• Intended Use: The mirror is designed exclusively for interior use.
