It is advisable to always wear protective eye glasses when testing or
working around a lead acid battery
Ensure the area is ventilated when working on a battery and never test or
charge a battery in a confined area with limited ventilation
Ensure the charger is not exposed to water when in use or plugged in
The appliance is not to be used by children or person with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and
knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction
Children being supervised not to play with the appliance.
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer,
its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
Warning: Never charge non-rechargeable batteries;
The battery terminal not connected to the chassis has to be connected
first. The other connection is to be made to the chassis, remote from the
battery and fuel line. The battery charger is then to be connected to the
supply mains.
After charging, disconnect the battery charger from the supply mains.
Then remove the chassis connection and then the battery connection.
During charging, the battery must be placed in a well ventilated area.
Lead acid batteries contain Sulphuric Acid. If acid contacts the skin or clothing flush
immediately with ample running water.
IN CASE OF ACCIDENTAL EYE CONTACT WITH BATTERY ACID FLUSH EYES FOR A
MINIMAL 5 MINUTES WITH CLEAN WATER. EYES SHOULD BE SUBMERGED
UNDER WATER AND OPENED TO FLUSH EFFECTIVELY. IT IS RECOMMENDED TO
IMMEDIATELY SEEK MEDICAL ATTENTION AND DO NOT USE OR DROPS OR ANY
OTHER MEDICATION UNLESS INSTRUCTED BY A DOCTOR.
IMPORTANT NOTES
The 207C is designed to charge 12 volt automotive lead acid batteries in
the capacity range of between 15-80 amp hours. Most small car batteries
are in this range
Do not attempt to charge other types of batteries such as larger 4WD or
commercial sizes, GEL, sealed batteries (SLA) or deep cycle
configurations.
It is recommended that this charger is not to be used by children and
should be kept out of reach whilst in use.
After charging, switch off the mains power supply. Remove the negative
clamp first then the positive last.
MAINTENANCE:
(1). Check the power cord periodically and if it’s damaged please replace it by an
