The Anko Rotary Shaving Kit is designed for personal, indoor use. Before any operation, it is crucial to ensure the device is fully charged. The charging indicator light will illuminate red during charging and turn off once fully charged, which typically takes about 2 hours for a complete charge. It is recommended to fully charge the shaver before its first use and to avoid charging for more than 2 hours to preserve battery life. The device should always be switched off before charging and when changing attachments.
To switch between different functions, attachments can be easily interchanged. To remove an attachment, grasp the appliance body with one hand and the attachment with the other, then gently pull them apart. To attach a new head, align it with the main body and push until it clicks securely into place.
For shaving, attach the rotary head. Turn the shaver ON by rotating the handle to align with the "I" mark. For an effective shave, stretch your skin and move the shaver against the direction of your beard growth. Apply gentle pressure and use small circular motions with the shaver head. Turn the trimmer ON by rotating the handle to the "I" mark. Slowly guide the trimmer upwards through the hair you intend to cut, using short strokes. Similar to shaving, avoid applying too much pressure to prevent skin irritation and ensure optimal cutting performance. For a straight cutting edge, hold the trimmer perpendicular to the skin. Always switch OFF the shaver and disconnect it from the charging cable before cleaning. Remove any attached heads. Gently tap the shaver/trimmer/body head to dislodge loose hairs and debris. Use the provided cleaning brush to thoroughly brush out hair clippings from the cutting system, attachment, and the top of the main body. The attachments and the main body can be rinsed under warm running water. Important: Do not use hot water, as it may cause damage. Crucially, do not submerge the shaver's main body in water or any other liquid. After rinsing, carefully shake off excess water and allow all parts to air dry thoroughly. Never dry the shaving unit with a towel or tissue, as this can damage the delicate parts.
If attachments are rinsed under water, the cutting blades should be lubricated monthly. Apply 1-2 drops of light-grade oil (such as sewing machine oil) lightly over the cutters with a fingertip, then wipe away any excess. Do not use hair oil, grease, or any oil mixed with kerosene or solvent.
