BEFORE USING YOUR KETTLE
Remove all the packaging from the kettle and position it on a secure,
stable, dry and flat work surface away from any edges.
This kettle should only be connected to a British Standard power outlet
installed by an approved electrician. The kettle should not be connected
to an extension cord or plug.
This appliance has been incorporated with a grounded plug. Ensure the
wall outlet in your house is well earthed.
Do not let the power cord hang over the edge of a table or kitchen counter,
touch a hot surface or become knotted, trapped or pinched. While in use,
wind the excessive cord to avoid overhanging in the work surface.
Remove the kettle from the power base and open the lid. Fill the kettle
up to the max mark and close the lid.
Place the kettle back in its base and turn it on by pressing the switch
down.
Clean your kettle by boiling a full kettle (1.7 L) of water twice and then
discarding the water.
NOTE: The maximum capacity of kettle is 1.7L
