Introduction
With this intelligent mains timer attached loads (e.g. heated carpets,
heaters, irons, coee machines, printers, copiers and many other
devices) can be switched on for a user selectable time period and reduce
the standby electricity costs for when they are not being used. Please
read the operating instructions carefully before use.

Safety instructions
Please read the operating instructions carefully and observe the safety
instructions! If necessary, pass the instructions on to a subsequent
user.
Do not use the countdown mains timer if there are signs of any
damage to the housing or mains pins!
Keep the countdown mains timer in a dry place!
In order to avoid the risk of re and/or electric shock, the countdown
mains timer must be protected against high humidity, water and heat!
The maximum load of this mains timer is 2500 Watt or 10A. Make sure
when you connect devices that this value is not exceeded!
Devices without mains cable connections that make mechanical mo-
vements or vibrate should not be directly connected to the countdown
mains timer!
Before cleaning the unit, disconnect it from the mains and only use a
dry cloth!
Never attempt to open the countdown mains timer!
Keep away from children‘s reach!
The appliance is not to be used by children or persons with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and
knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction!
If the safety instructions are not followed, it may lead to damage to the
countdown mains timer and could cause injury!
Only plug the countdown mains timer into a correctly tting mains
socket!

Operation
Plug the countdown mains timer into a suitable wall mains socket
(switched on). The countdown mains timer is ready to use, but it is still
without power to the mains output. Connect the load. Press for approx.
2 seconds the “START–STOP” push button to activate the connected load
for 15 minutes. Each additional press doubles the operating time up to
8 hours. There are operating times of 15 minutes, 30 minutes, 1 hour,
2 hours, 4 hours or 8 hours selectable. The remaining operating time is
indicated by the respective LED. The time can be changed during
operation by pressing the “START–STOP” button at any time. If you want
to switch o the connected load instantly, select the “8h” and press the
“START–STOP” button one more time. At this point, or when the timer
expires naturally, the “15min” LED ashes for approx. 10 seconds.
Aerwards the countdown mains timer disconnects itself automatically
from the mains power and consumes no more electricity. The countdown
mains timer can permanently remain in the wall outlet socket, (with the
electrical load connected or not), in complete safety.
Environmental note
Do not dispose of this timer in the normal household waste.
Please return it to your dealer or to your nearest recycling
centre or collection point.

Warranty
The manufacturer guarantees the conformity of the mains timer with
the design description, assuming compliance with the installation and
operating instructions.
Warranty period – 2 years from date of purchase.
In case of a defect during guarantee period caused by a manufacturing
defect, the customer has the right to supplementary performance. The
warranty does not cover any defects due to inadequate handling,
damages through a third party, wrong installation (not following the
manual) or its consequential damages.
Please keep your sales receipt.
For any warranty claims you have to show your sales receipt as well as
completed guarantee card.
