your ENERGY 16 PLUS charger in an optimum way. Please read these operating instructions carefully before use. We hope you are

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
§ Please read these operating instructions carefully before using
the charger!
§ Do not use the device if there are signs of any damage to the hou-
sing, mains plug or cable. Please contact an authorised dealer!
§ Use only with NiMH/NiCd cells. Other types could cause an explo-
sion! Never recharge any non-rechargeable batteries!
§ Observe the battery polarity (+/-) prior to use!
§ Please note that due to the high charging current, only high-per-
formance brand rechargeable batteries should be charged with
this device! Low quality cells may leak and damage the charger
and will invalidate the warranty!
§ For indoor use only. Keep the charger in a dry place away from
direct sunlight!
§ In order to avoid the risk of fire and/or electric shock, the charger
must be protected against high humidity and water!
§ Before cleaning the unit, disconnect it from the mains!
§ Never attempt to open the charger!
§ This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and
above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental ca-
pabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have given
supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a
safe way and understand the hazard involved. Children
shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance
shall not be made by children without supervision!
§ If the safety instructions are not followed, it may lead to damage
to the device or battery and could cause injury!
§ We recommend the use of ANSMANN rechargeable batteries!
