The ATG-2 provides several ways to page.
 Direct paging  The ATG-2 -microphone with a switch lets you page
through primary and secondary speaker circuits channels. If used
with an optional FFT-7, the ATG-2 also lets you page through the
system from telephones installed throughout the installation.
 Remote paging microphone  You can also set up the ATG-2 to relay
an audio message (or tone) received from an AMG-1 or another
ATG-2. The ATG-2 provides override paging capabilities from the
ATG-2 microphone. All communications go through a Notification
Appliance Circuit connected to the control panelunless set up for
remote paging microphone operation..
Selecting a way to Page
Select output channels for the ATG-2 as follows:
 Single channel  Select the primary (EVAC) channel. Set the tone for
the primary channel: a slow whoop; Hi/Lo; or steady tone.
 Dual channel  Select the secondary (ALERT) channel. Set the tone
for the secondary channel: a chime or a 20pulse-per-minute tone.
Select Output Channels
ATG-2 operation involves the following:
 Select output channels.
 Select paging options.
 Page or relay messages.
