ATG-2 Audio Tone Generator
The Audio Tone Generator (ATG-2) provides user-selected tones for
single- or dual-channel output. The following figure shows ATG-2
operating features:

Built-in Microphone
All communication takes place through a Notification Appliance Circuit
connection with the control panel (unless setting up a microphone for
remote paging).
Standard Operation
Remote Paging The ATG-2 can also serve as a remote paging micro-
phone. Under this setup, the ATG-2 relays the audio message (or tone)
received from an AMG-1 or another ATG-2 while allowing override paging
capabilities from the ATG-2 microphone. The ATG-2 can drive up to 50
AA-30 or AA-120 audio amplifiers.
System Paging If using an FFT-7, the ATG-2 provides system paging
capability from telephones installed throughout the installation.

status information.
