Overview

This document is an instruction manual for the Aobosi Slow Juicer, Model No.: AMR520. It provides comprehensive information on the device's operation, assembly, maintenance, and safety precautions.

Function Description

The Aobosi Slow Juicer is a multifunctional appliance designed for extracting juice from various fruits, vegetables, and leafy greens. It operates by slowly grinding and pressing ingredients to maximize juice yield and preserve nutrients. The juicer is equipped with an auger that grinds food material against a juicing screen, separating juice from pomace. It includes separate containers for collecting juice and pomace, a plunger for pushing food material into the feed chute, and a tray for interim storage of ingredients. The device also features a reverse rotation function for clearing blockages.

Important Technical Specifications

  • Model No.: AMR520
  • Rated Voltage: 120V ~
  • Rated Power: 150W
  • Rated Frequency: 60Hz
  • Continuous Operating Time: ≤10 minutes
  • Interval Time: ≥10 minutes (rest period required after continuous operation)
  • Juice Container Capacity: 950ml
  • Pomace Container Capacity: 800ml
  • Protection Grade: Class-I (requires proper grounding)
  • Safety Features:
    • Intelligent protection chips: Automatically stops after 20 minutes of operation to cool the motor and prolong service life. Requires a 20-30 minute rest before restarting.
    • Current limit protection: Stops operation if the current exceeds 1.3A (e.g., when processing hard materials or if the motor is locked) to prevent damage. The equipment will beep in such cases.

Usage Features

  1. Preparation: Before first use, all parts in contact with food material must be thoroughly cleaned. Ingredients should be cut into proper pieces (strips less than 3.9 inches/10cm) to fit through the feed chute. Hard cores, seeds, tough skins, or shells from fruits and vegetables must be removed in advance.
  2. Assembly: The manual provides detailed steps for assembling the juicer:
    • Connect the drum to the housing by aligning and rotating it anticlockwise until it locks securely.
    • Place the auger into the drum.
    • Insert the juicing screen into the drum.
    • Attach the end cap onto the drum and rotate it counter-clockwise.
    • Place the juice cup and pomace container under the drum set.
    • Mount the tray onto the upper end of the feed chute.
  3. Operation:
    • Connect the power supply (ensure the switch is in the "Off" position before power-on).
    • Press the "ON" button to start. Note: After pressing "ON", the appliance pauses for 1 second before starting.
    • Gently push prepared food material into the feed chute using the plunger. Do not use excessive force or put fingers/other objects into the opening.
    • Reverse Rotation ("R" button): If food material blocks the auger or the motor locks, press and hold the "R" button for approximately 3 seconds to rotate the auger in reverse, then release. Press "ON" to resume normal operation. If blockages persist, disconnect power, remove food material from the auger, and then restart.
    • Continuous Operation Limit: The machine should operate for no more than 10 minutes continuously. Prolonged operation can damage the motor.
    • Completion: After juicing, turn off the switch and disconnect the power supply. Wait for the spiral propeller and juice filter to stop rotating completely before removing the juice cup.
  4. Ingredient Selection Tips:
    • Fruits: Select fresh, juicy fruits like pineapple, beet root, celery stalk, apple, cucumber, spinach, melons, tomato, orange, and grape. Remove thick skins (e.g., orange, pineapple, raw beet root) and seeds (e.g., oranges). Apple juice may brown quickly; adding lemon juice can slow this.
    • Vegetables: Suitable for carrots, beets, celery, peppers, radishes, wheatgrass, kale, cabbage, spinach, and pine tree needles.
    • Not Recommended: Jam, bananas, mangoes, dried fruit, and sugar cane may not yield juice effectively.
    • Pomace: Pomace should not be stored for a long time.

Maintenance Features

  1. Safety First: Always shut down the switch and disconnect the power supply before cleaning.
  2. Cleaning Frequency: Clean the product immediately after each use.
  3. Housing Cleaning: The main housing unit (containing the motor) cannot be washed under water. Clean it with a twisted wet cloth instead.
  4. Disassembly for Cleaning:
    • Remove the plunger and tray.
    • Press and hold the locking button, then rotate the drum clockwise to remove it from the housing.
    • Use the provided wrench to remove the juicer cover in a clockwise direction if it's difficult to remove after juicing.
    • After removing the extractor, detach the end cap, juice screen, and auger in turn.
    • All removable components (drum, auger, juicing screen, end cap, juice cup, pomace container, tray, plunger) can be washed with water.
  5. Prohibited Cleaning Methods:
    • Do not immerse the motor base in water or any other liquid.
    • Do not use a water jet to clean the motor base.
    • Do not use steel wool, abrasive cleaning agents, or corrosive liquids (e.g., gasoline, acetone) to clean the product.
  6. Storage: Ensure the product is clean and dry before storing it. Store in a place out of reach of children.
