Why is there no sound on my AOC 43S5285 LCD TV?

If there is no sound or you are experiencing noisy sound on your AOC LCD TV, first check the volume control and make sure the mute function is off by pressing the (Mute) key or VOL +. If you are using HDMI equipment, verify that the audio output setting of the connected equipment is set to PCM.
