TV Guide and Recordings
TV Guide
In some regions and for some channels, TV Guide information might not be available. The TV can
collect TV Guide information for the channels that are installed on the TV. The TV cannot collect the
TV Guide information from channels viewed from a digital receiver or decoder. The TV comes with the
information set to from the broadcaster.
The first time you open the TV Guide, the TV scans all TV channels for program information. This may
take several minutes.
You can press TV GUIDE key to open. Press TV GUIDE key again to close.
- Record: Press to set a recording in the TV Guide.

Reminder: You can set reminders that alert you of the start of a program with a message on
screen.
- Schedule: To see the recording list. A program set to be recorded is marked with a
(camera) after the program's name.

Info: Call up the details of the selected program.
Recordings
To record the program you are watching, press (Record) on the remote control.
To stop recording, press (Stop).
*For recording, please plug your external drive in to an appropriate USB port.
Channels
After a channel installation, all channels appear in the channel list.
Channels are shown with their name if this information is available.
With a channel list selected, you can only tune to the channels in that list when using the CH + or CH -
keys.
You can press LIST key to enter the channel list.
Options for channels
While watching a channel, depending on the type of channel (analog or digital) you are watching or depending on the TV
settings you made, some options are available.
- Audio languages
Press
(OPTIONS) key to view the audio languages. For digital TV, the options of languages are depend on the
stream. For analog TV, this key is used to switch Sound effect mode. (You can switch Mono/Stereo/Dual mode on ISDB
system.)
- Closed captions(CC)
You can display closed captions at all times.
Press (CC) key to switch this option.
Note:
- Digital TV interactive applications are not accessible when closed caption text is switched on.
- Not all TV programs, commercials and features include closed captioning information. See your local TV program
listings for channels with closed captions. Captioned programs are typically listed with service marks, such as 'CC,' in the
TV listings.
