Function Description

The AGK700 is a full-sized mechanical gaming keyboard featuring RGB backlighting, offering extensive customization options for both aesthetics and functionality. It is equipped with Cherry MX switches, known for their durability and tactile feedback, ensuring a responsive and satisfying keystroke experience. The keyboard supports N-key rollover and 100% anti-ghosting, allowing for simultaneous and accurate registration of multiple key presses, crucial for fast-paced gaming.

A key feature of the AGK700 is its customizable RGB lighting, which can be synchronized with other AOC gaming devices for a cohesive setup. Users can choose from a variety of lighting effects, including Static, Breathing, React, Flashing, Ripple, Radar, Firework, Blink, Wave, Custom Setup, Concentric Circles, and W Wave. Each effect can be further tailored by adjusting color, pulsation speed, brightness, direction, and stop time, providing a truly personalized visual experience.

The keyboard incorporates a USB pass-through port, offering convenient connectivity for other peripherals or devices. Usage Features

The AGK700 is designed for intuitive control and extensive customization through the AOC G-Tools software.

Key Functions:

  • Mode Key (M): Switches between different key modes, allowing users to quickly change keyboard configurations.
  • G1-G5 Keys: These are dedicated macro hotkeys. Users can assign pre-recorded macros or create new ones using the Macro Manager in the AOC G-Tools software.
  • Homepage Key: Directly opens the default web browser to the homepage.
  • W, A, S, D Key Switching: Toggles the function of the W, A, S, D keys with the arrow keys, providing flexibility for different game controls. This function can be canceled by pressing the key again.
  • Media Key: Opens the default media player.
  • Lighting Switch: Adjusts the backlight brightness.
  • Light Effect Switch: Cycles through the various RGB lighting effects.
  • Win Lock: Turns the Windows Key function on or off, preventing accidental presses during gaming.
  • Mute Key: Mutes or unmutes the computer's sound.

  • Previous/Next Media Track: Navigates between media tracks.

AOC G-Tools Software:

The AOC G-Tools software is the central hub for customizing the AGK700.

  • Game Profile Management: Users can create and manage up to five different profiles, each with unique key assignments, lighting effects, and sensitivity settings. Profiles can be renamed, exported, and imported. Each profile can also be linked to a specific executable program, automatically activating the profile when the program is launched.
  • Button Assignment: Almost every key on the keyboard (excluding Fn, Win, ESC, and Shift) can be assigned a custom action. Available actions include Macro Manager, Multimedia controls, Window Management functions (e.g., Calculator, Email, WWW Favorites, My Computer), Text Editor commands (e.g., Cut, Copy, Paste, Undo), mouse clicks (Left, Right, Middle, Double Click), Fire Button, Assign Shortcut, and Windows Key. The "Preset Button" restores the original action of a key.
  • Macro Manager: This powerful tool allows users to record, edit, and manage complex sequences of keystrokes and button presses with precise timing. Macros can be created with recorded delays, fixed delays, or ignored delays. Users can insert new macro items, adjust delay times, and delete recorded actions. Each macro key can store up to 64 actions (32 keys).
  • Game Mode: This section offers several options to optimize the keyboard for gaming:
    • Disable Alt + Tab: Prevents accidental switching between application-level windows.
    • Disable Alt + F4: Prevents accidental closing of the current active window or opening the Shutdown window.
    • Disable Windows Key: Prevents accidental opening of the Start menu.
    • Switch WASD and Arrow Keys: Swaps the functions of these key sets for different control preferences.
    • Key Mode: Allows selection between "Standard" (without anti-ghosting, only the first key detected if multiple non-modifier keys are pressed) and "All Key" (N-key rollover anti-ghosting, all key presses detected).
  • Sensitivity: This section allows users to adjust polling rate, repeat delay, and repeat rate.
    • Polling Rate: Choose from 125Hz/8ms, 250Hz/4ms, 500Hz/2ms, or 1000Hz/1ms (default).
    • Repeat Delay: Adjusts the delay before a key press starts repeating, with options from Long to Short.
    • Repeat Rate: Adjusts the speed at which a key press repeats. A "Repeat Rate Test" field is provided to test these settings.
  • Light FX: This dedicated section for RGB lighting customization allows users to select from various lighting effects, set colors (using an RGB color panel or random color option), adjust pulsation speed, brightness levels (Off to Bright), direction (for effects like Flashing, Radar, Wave, Concentric Circles), and stop time (for effects like Static, Breathing, Flashing, Radar, Wave, Custom Setup, Concentric Circles, and W Wave). For the "Blink" effect, the number of stops can also be set.
  • Light FX Sync: Enables synchronization of the keyboard's lighting effects with other compatible AOC gaming devices, creating a unified lighting scheme across the setup.
  • Online Update: The software provides a mechanism for online updates, ensuring the device's firmware and software are always up-to-date with the latest features and bug fixes.

Maintenance Features
