Logged Data Conversion Manager

The Logged Data and Conversion Manager enables you to import the data saved on the sensors and convert it to

a format that can be read by a number of software analysis packages. Click the “Convert” button in the toolbar to

open the Logged Data and Conversion Manager. Raw data les are displayed in the Logged Recordings Available for

Conversion table.

Selecting Data for Import

In the Recordings Ready for Conversion table, you can select data for conversion by using the checkboxes. When you

click on a le in the table, any other les that have overlapping recording times will be highlighted. This functionality

aids in the nding and merging of data that was recorded on multiple monitors synchronously.

Conversion Options

Convert Each Recording to its own File - When chosen, instead of merging the selected logged recordings into a

single HDF le, each logged recording will be converted into its own HDF le. When this is option is chosen, the

selected recordings do not have to overlap in time. This can be useful for batch processing multiple les at the

same time, if it is not required that they are merged. An example use case would be if you are using a single Opal in

your recordings and you wish to convert a month’s worth of data all at once.
