If there are some indication on the LCD monitor, the unit needs the operation as
below:

PLEASE REMOVE THE
LENS COVER
Move the lens cover slide to open the lens.
NO PICTURE
Take pictures and save them, then playback
them.
CARD NOT PROPERLY
INSERTED
Power off the unit, and re-insert the card. If it is
the first time to use, format it firstly.
INDICATION
MEMORY FULL Replace the Compact Flash card.
