General Recommendations
Warning: Never turn on a display unless all of its parts are in place as originally
assembled. Operating the display with missing parts can damage the display and
cause injury.
The display housing and LCD panel can retain fingerprints and scratch easily. When
handling and servicing the display, follow these precautions:
• Be very careful with tools.
• Lay the display and parts only on a clean soft surface.
• Remove jewelry.
• Wear clean white cotton gloves.
• Never open the display without using the fixture.
• When working with metal tools, use a clean cloth to protect the housing.
• Use the service bumpers whenever removing the display assembly from the housing.
