About iPod Updater 2004-07-15
iPod Updater 2004-07-15 includes iPod Software 3.0 for use
with iPods with a Click Wheel. iPod Updater 2004-07-15 also
includes the latest software versions for iPod mini and the
third generation iPod.

music player should be. It’s lighter than 2 CDs, can hold
up to 10,000 songs, and downloads music at blazing speeds.
Automatically synchronize your music, On-The-Go playlists,
and audiobooks from your iTunes library in a flash. iPod
now features the new innovative Click Wheel for
uncompromised ease of use. You can navigate your entire
music collection, or have a customized book reading
experience with new adjustable audiobook read speeds, all
without lifting a thumb.
NOTE: iPod Updater 2004-07-15 contains the same software
versions as iPod Updater 2004-04-28 for all other iPod
models.
NOTE: iPod 3.0 Software is not compatible with other models
of iPod, including original scroll wheel and touch wheel
iPods, and iPod mini.
NOTE: iPod Software 2.2 and iPod Software 1.1 should not be
used with iPod with Click Wheel

To install and use iPod software 3.0, you need:
* A PC with built-in FireWire or a FireWire card installed,
or built-in USB 2.0 or a USB 2.0 card installed
* Windows 2000, or Windows XP Home or Professional
• iTunes 4.6 (included on the iPod CD) or later
