Apple TV User Guide
• Apps: Purchase apps directly on Apple TV and download previous App Store
purchases to Apple TV for free, anytime.
• Game Center: Play your favorite games with friends who have an Apple TV, an
iOS device, or a Mac (OS X
10.8 or later, or macOS).
• Photos: View your photos and videos from iCloud Photo Library, My Photo
Stream, and iCloud Photo Sharing. See Photos at a glance .
• Family Sharing: Share the purchases from the iTunes Store and the App Store
of up to six family members on your Apple TV. See Family Sharing.
Note: All features may not be available in all areas.
Speak user names and passwords. With the text entry field highlighted, press
and hold the Siri button
g, then speak letters, nL1mbers, and symbols instead of
using the onscreen keyboard. Say "uppercase" to indicate an uppercase letter. For

<f> Tip: You can use the keyboard on a nearby iPhone or iPad to enter text directly
on Apple TV, instead of using the Siri Remote. For more, see Use the iOS keyboard

Set password requirements for purchases. You can set whether Apple TV
requires your Apple ID password to complete an iTunes or App Store purchase. In
Settings
R , go to Accounts> ''iTunes and App Store''> Password Settings>
Require Password, then select Always, After
15 Minutes, or Never.
Accounts for other content providers
Some apps and content providers, such as Netflix, HBO NOW, and Showtime,
require that you sign in before using them. When you open the app to sign in or set
up an account, follow the onscreen instructions.
