The Amaran 60x S is a 65W full-color LED light, part of the "amaran" series of RGBWW COB lights by Aputure. It features a new and colorful appearance design, supporting full-color output of light sources. The device is designed for lightweight and cost-effective lighting solutions, offering an upgraded exterior color for an enhanced visual experience. It incorporates advanced software interaction design and minimalist control methods, and is compatible with the Sidus Link® APP for extended control.

Important Safety Instructions:

Before use, it is crucial to remove the protective cover from the light and the protection cover from the reflector. Always read and understand all instructions. Close supervision is necessary when the fixture is used by or near children, and it should not be left unattended while in use. Burns can occur from touching hot surfaces, so care must be taken. Do not operate the fixture if the cord is damaged or if the fixture has been dropped or damaged, until it has been examined by qualified service personnel. Power cables should be positioned to avoid tripping hazards, pulling, or contact with hot surfaces. If an extension cord is necessary, it must have an amperage rating at least equal to that of the fixture to prevent overheating. Always unplug the lighting fixture from the electrical outlet before cleaning, servicing, or when not in use, and never yank the cord to remove the plug. Allow the lighting fixture to cool completely before storing, and store the power cable in its assigned space in the carrying case. To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not immerse the fixture in water or any other liquids. Do not disassemble the fixture; contact cs@aputure.com or qualified service personnel for service or repair, as incorrect reassembly can cause electric shock. The use of any accessory attachment not recommended by the manufacturer may increase the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury. Power the fixture by connecting it to a grounded outlet. Do not block ventilation or look directly at the LED light source when it is powered on, and do not touch the LED light source under any condition. Do not place the LED lighting fixture near flammable objects. Use only a dry microfiber cloth to clean the product. Do not use the light fixture in wet conditions, as this may cause electric shock. If the product has a problem, have it checked by an authorized service personnel agent; malfunctions caused by unauthorized disassembly are not covered by the warranty. Only use original Aputure® cable accessories, as malfunctions caused by unauthorized accessories are not covered by the warranty. This product is certified by CE, ROHS, UKCA, FCC, IC, cTUVus, RCM, PSE, KC, and inspection report, NCC. Operate the product in full compliance with relevant country's standards; malfunctions caused by incorrect use are not covered by warranty. The instructions and information in this manual are based on thorough, controlled company testing procedures, and further notice will not be given if the design or specifications change.

Product Details:

The device features a Bowens Mount with a release latch, a display, a COB LED, and a Bowens Mount Mini Reflector. It includes a protective cover, an adjusting knob, a seat button, a power switch button, and a DC-in connector (12-19V).

Installations:

1. Detaching/Attaching the Protection Cover: Push the handle of the lever in the direction of the arrow shown in the picture, and rotate the cover to pull it out. Reverse rotation will put the protective cover into place. Always remove the protection cover prior to turning on the light and re-install it when packing away.
2. Attaching/Detaching the Reflector: Push the lever handle according to the arrow direction shown in the picture, and rotate the reflector into it. Rotating in the opposite direction pulls out the reflector.
3. Setting up the light: Adjust the lamp body to the appropriate height, rotate the tie-down to fix the lamp body on the tripod, then adjust the lamp body to the required angle, and tighten the lock handle.
4. Soft Light Umbrella Installation: Insert the soft light handle into the hole, then lock the locking knob. (Soft light umbrella sold separately).
5. Battery Handle Installation: Tighten the lamp body and the battery handle via a 1/4 screw, then attach the battery plate or V-mount battery to the handle with the V-mount lock. (Battery sold separately).
6. Power Supply:
   • Powered by AC: Connect the power adapter to an AC 100V-240V source and then to the DC-in connector on the light. To remove the power cord from the lamp, press the button on the DC interface; do not pull it out forcibly. To remove the power cord from the spring-loaded lock button, press the button; do not pull it out forcibly.
   • Powered by DC: The light can be powered by NP-F series batteries via the battery handle. To remove the batteries, press the seat button; do not pull them out forcibly.

Operations:

1. Power ON/OFF: Press the power button to turn the light on and off.
2. Manual Control (Menu):
   • INT / CCT (Brightness Adjustment):
     • Rotate the INT adjusting knob to adjust the brightness with 1% variable increments. The brightness range is 0-100%, displayed in real-time on the LCD.
     • Click the INT adjustment knob to quickly switch brightness levels: 20%→40%→60%→80%→100% and cycle back.
   • CCT Adjustment:
     • Rotate the knob to adjust the CCT with 100K variable increments. The CCT range is 2700K-6500K, displayed in real-time on the LCD.
     • Click the knob to quickly switch CCT: 2700K→3200K→4300K→5600K→6500K and cycle back.
3. FX (Lighting Effects): When connected to the Sidus Link® APP, "FX" will be displayed on the upper left corner of the screen. In wireless mode, 9 lighting effects can be controlled through the APP: Paparazzi, Fireworks, Faulty Bulb, Lightning, TV, Pulsing, Strobe, Explosion, and Fire.
4. BT Settings (Bluetooth):
   • Long press the Bluetooth reset button to reset Bluetooth.
   • During the reset process, the LCD displays "BT Reset" and the Bluetooth icon flashes, showing the current reset progress as a percentage.
   • The LCD will display "Success" after a successful Bluetooth reset, or "Failed" if unsuccessful.
   • After resetting, your mobile phone or tablet will be able to connect to and control the light.
5. Update: Firmware updates can be performed online via the Sidus Link® app for OTA updates.
6. Using the Sidus Link® APP: Download the Sidus Link® app from the iOS App Store or Google Play Store to enhance the light's functionality. Visit Sidus.link/app/help for more details on controlling Aputure® lights with the app.
