What to do if Aqua PRO DV FLO Water Pump failure to pump, reduced capacity or discharge pressure suction leaks/lost prime?
    • D
      Darlene OwenAug 4, 2025
If your Aqua PRO Water Pump is experiencing a failure to pump, reduced capacity, discharge pressure, suction leaks, or has lost its prime, ensure that the pump body and basket body are full of water to prime the pump. Also, check for any leaks in the suction piping and ensure the suction inlet is well below the water level to prevent the pump from sucking air. You may also need to lower the pump closer to the water source or install a check valve in the suction line.

What to do if Aqua PRO DV FLO Water Pump fails to pump due to electrical issues?

      ngriffinAug 12, 2025
If your Aqua PRO Water Pump is not pumping due to electrical issues, there are several things you can check: * If the pump is running too slowly, check the voltage at the motor terminals and at the meter while the pump is running. If the voltage is low, refer to the wiring instructions or consult your power company. Also, check for loose connections. * If the pump is too hot, check the line voltage. If it's less than 90% or more than 110% of the rated voltage, consult a licensed electrician. * Ensure adequate ventilation and reduce the ambient temperature around the pump. * Tighten any loose connections.

How to fix Aqua PRO DV FLO Water Pump failure to pump due to clogged pipe/trap/impeller or worn impeller?
    • Y
      Yolanda RiosAug 20, 2025
If your Aqua PRO Water Pump isn't pumping because of a clogged pipe, trap, or impeller, you should first check if the suction trap is clogged. If it is, clean the trap and the strainer. Next, check the impeller for clogging. Also, the impeller and diffuser may be worn, in this case order replacement parts by calling 1-888-658-1594. Finally, the pump may be trying to push too high a column of water, if so, a “higher head” pump is needed. Call 1-888-658-1594.

Why is Aqua PRO Water Pump leaking around the motor?
    • C
      Carl ConnerAug 27, 2025
If your Aqua PRO Water Pump is leaking around the motor, it is likely due to a mechanical seal failure. To prevent further damage to other components and reduce the risk of electric shock, take the pump out of service and replace the seal immediately.
