ECO-Vac is a highly effective pond sludge cleaner, which has been developed according to the latest
technology.
ECO-Vac is ideal for use in garden ponds but can also be used as a wet vacuum cleaner in home and
garden.
In addition the ECO-Vac can also be used for professional emptying of pools and other containers.
Read this user instructions carefully to achieve the full efficiency of the product and to ensure a per-
fect operation.
None-compliance of the user instructions can cause serious failures and incorrect operation can dam-
age the product.
Before use, check that the power supply is identically with the one indicated on the product, i.e.
230 volt. In case of deviation, the unit may not be connected!
The unit has to be protected with a residual current protective circuit with a rated residual current
of max. 30 mA. All electrical installations must be performed according to national and interna-
tional laws and rules in accordance with EU safety regulations (if necessary contact an author-
ized electrician).
Make sure that the unit is mounted correctly before use.
The pond sludge cleaner is no toy and may not be operated by children!
The unit may not be lifted or pulled by the power supply cable.
The unit may not be drawn by the suction hose when in use.
The plug may not be cut off and the cable may not be shortened otherwise the warranty will not
cover.
For outdoor use, the plug has to be kept dry.
Never touch the plug with wet hands.
Before servicing or cleaning the pond sludge cleaner, the power supply must be disconnected and
the plug removed from the socket. The motor may never be immersed into water or cleaned with
water.
During operation, the water temperature may not exceed 35º Celsius.
For ensuring optimum safety, the power supply cable is casted into the motor casing and can not
be replaced. If the cable or the tank container are damaged, the pond sludge cleaner may not be
used.
ECO-Vac is exclusively manufactured for vacuuming sludge and water. Other flammable, toxic or
noxious liquids, such as gasoline, oil, acid or other volatile substances may not be vacuumed.
We take no responsibility for damages to persons or objects that are caused by improper use, or
by not complying with the user instructions.
Maintenance and cleaning of the pond sludge cleaner:
Before disassembly, cleaning or other maintenance always disconnect the power supply
and remove the plug from the socket.
The ECO-Vac is virtually maintenance free.
Clean the tank container and the sludge bag thoroughly with water and if necessary with a mild
household soap (without Sulphate).
Check that the suction hose, the extension tubes and the nozzles are not clogged by any dirt
residues. Clean them if necessary.
Clean the foam filter bag with clear water and dry it thoroughly.
Store the pond sludge vacuum cleaner in a dry and frost-free place, which is inaccessible for
children.
