  If the water in your pond isn't clearing up, several factors could be at play. It may be that the biological cycle hasn't fully matured yet, which can take up to eight weeks. The pump size might be inappropriate, causing water flow to be too fast or too slow for the pond volume. The pond itself could be excessively dirty due to stringy algae, leaves, or sludge buildup. Overcrowding with fish can also strain the system, requiring a larger filter and pump. Dirty filter sponges necessitate more frequent back flushes. Finally, a dirty UV Quartz sleeve requires cleaning.

Why is the UV lamp indicator not lit on my AquaPRO Water Filtration System?

  If the UV lamp indicator isn't lit, it could be due to a few reasons. The faint blue glow of the UV globe might not be visible in bright sunlight, so check again in the evening. Ensure the UV unit has power and the power point is turned on. If neither of these is the issue, the UV globe may be defective and require replacement.
