Storm Function
Useful Tip: Using the storm function whilst carrying
out a water change has been known to trigger
breeding behaviour in certain species of fish.
When storm function is entered the following
sequence occurs:-
1. The controlled AquaRay light units will dim
down to 5% across a 5 minute period. During
this period ‘1= 2= S<’ will be displayed on the
screen to indicate the storm approaching.
2. The controlled AquaRay light units will
simulate lightning by flashing at random
intervals across a period of 30 minutes. During
this period1= 2= L will be displayed on the
screen to indicate lightning.
3. The AquaRay light units will stop flashing and
brighten back to their programmed level
across a 5 minute period. During this period
‘1= 2= S>’ will be displayed to indicate the
storm ending.
4. The user’s set program will be resumed.
WARNING: The storm function involves
flashing lights which have been known to cause
seizures in certain sufferers of epilepsy.
