How to fix Aquatek ATAIOIF Water Filtration Systems timer not displaying time?
    • G
      Gabriella CastanedaAug 21, 2025
If the timer on your Aquatek Water Filtration System does not display the time of day, check the following: * Ensure the transformer is plugged in to connect power. * Verify there is electrical power at the outlet; repair or use a working outlet if necessary. * If the above steps don't work, the transformer or PC board may be defective and require replacement.

Why is Aquatek Water Filtration Systems timer displaying the wrong time?
    • E
      Edward HartAug 25, 2025
If the timer on your Aquatek Water Filtration System isn't showing the correct time, it might be due to a switched outlet. Use an uninterrupted outlet. Also, a power outage could be the reason, so reset the time of day. If neither of these fixes the issue, the PC board may be defective and need replacing.

How to adjust backwash time on Aquatek ATAIOIF control valve?
    • L
      lolsonAug 28, 2025
If the control valve on your Aquatek Water Filtration System backwashes at the wrong time, the time of day may not be set correctly, so reset it. Also, the backwash time may be set incorrectly; reset that as well. If there was a power outage, reset the valve to the correct time of day.

What to do if Aquatek Water Filtration Systems control valve is stuck in backwash?
    • M
      Michael HamiltonAug 31, 2025
If the control valve is stalled in the backwash on your Aquatek Water Filtration System, several issues could be the cause. The motor may not be operating, in which case it should be replaced. Ensure there is electrical power at the outlet; repair or use a working outlet if needed. Other potential causes include a defective transformer or PC board (replace as necessary), a broken piston retainer (replace the drive cap assembly), a broken main or regenerant piston (replace the piston), or a broken drive gear or drive cap assembly (replace the gear or assembly).

Why doesn't my Aquatek ATAIOIF backwash when holding REGEN?
    • C
      Carol MartinezSep 3, 2025
If the control valve on your Aquatek Water Filtration System doesn't automatically backwash when you press and hold the REGEN button, ensure the transformer is connected. Also, check for power at the outlet and repair or use a working outlet if necessary. If these aren't the problem, the drive gear or drive cap assembly could be broken, or the PC board may be defective, requiring replacement of the affected part.

    Cindy CurtisSep 6, 2025
Why Aquatek Water Filtration Systems only backwashes when REGEN is pressed?
    • J
      joelparkerSep 6, 2025
If your Aquatek Water Filtration System's control valve only backwashes when the REGEN button is held down, but not automatically, the PC board may be defective and needs to be replaced. Alternatively, there could be a set-up error, so check the control valve set-up procedure.

What does Err 1002 mean on Aquatek Water Filtration Systems?
    • G
      George FisherSep 8, 2025
If your Aquatek Water Filtration System displays Err - 1002, indicating the control valve motor ran too short, it could be due to a few reasons. Foreign material might be lodged in the control valve, so open it up and inspect the piston assembly and Seal and Spacer Stack Assembly. There could also be mechanical binding; check the Piston and Seal and Spacer Stack Assembly, Reduction Gears, Drive Bracket, and Main Drive Gear Interface. The Main Drive Gear might be too tight, so loosen it. Finally, improper voltage to the Circuit Board could be the cause; verify the proper voltage is being supplied. After these steps, press NEXT and REGEN buttons at the same time for 3 seconds to resynchronize software with piston.

What does Err 1001 mean on Aquatek Water Filtration Systems?
    • D
      Daryl OliverSep 12, 2025
If your Aquatek Water Filtration System displays 'Err - 1001', it means the control is unable to sense motor movement. This could be because the motor isn't fully inserted, motor wires are broken, or disconnected. Disconnect power, ensure the motor is fully engaged, check for broken wires, and ensure the two-pin connector on the motor is connected to the two-pin connection on the Circuit Board labeled MOTOR. It could also be that the Circuit Board is not properly snapped into the drive bracket, so ensure it is properly snapped in. Another cause could be missing reduction gears, so replace them if needed. After these steps, press NEXT and REGEN buttons at the same time for 3 seconds to resynchronize software with piston.
