Function Description

The Arçelik Turkish Coffee Machine is designed to prepare Turkish coffee. It features two independent coffee-making compartments, allowing for the preparation of multiple servings simultaneously. The machine incorporates advanced technologies such as:

  • SpinJet (Automatic stirring system): Ensures foamy and ideally consistent coffee.

  • AntiSpill (Overflow prevention system): An additional safety feature that eliminates the need to constantly monitor the coffee during preparation.

The machine is intended for household use and is suitable for various domestic environments, including shops, offices, farmhouses, hotels, motels, and bed and breakfast establishments. It is specifically designed to cook coffee and should not be used for other purposes or with other substances in the water tank or coffee-making pot.

Usage Features

The machine offers flexible coffee preparation options:

  • Serving Sizes: Each compartment has buttons to start making 1, 2, or 3 servings of coffee.
  • Cup Size Adjustment: Users can adjust the water amount for small (60 ml), medium (70 ml), or large (80 ml) cups using the "Small-Medium-Large" cup size adjustment buttons (9). This adjustment should be performed after initial setup and repeated if the cup size is changed or the water tank is removed/reinstalled.
  • Water Tank: The 1.5 L water tank (10) can be filled by removing it or directly while in place. A water depleted warning (5) will alert the user when refilling is needed.
  • Initial Use: Before first use, the water tank and coffee-making pots should be washed and dried. The pump and water system must be filled and air bled out by running a 3-serving cycle with water and then draining it.
  • Coffee Preparation Process:
    1. Place the desired amount of coffee and sugar (up to 3 servings) into the coffee-making pot (15).
    2. Place the coffee-making pot into its designated slot on the heating surface (13 or 14).
    3. Press the corresponding coffee-making button (2, 3, 4, 6, 7, or 8) for the number of servings added. The selected button's LED will light white.
    4. An audio warning will sound upon completion, and the LED will flash white.
    5. Remove the pot and pour the coffee.
  • Coffee-making Time: Approximately 1-1.5 minutes for 1 person, 1.5-2.5 minutes for 2 persons, and 2-3.5 minutes for 3 persons.
  • Cancellation: The coffee-making process can be canceled by pressing and holding the selected start button for 3 seconds.
  • Sleep Mode: If inactive for 3 minutes, the appliance will enter stand-by mode with an audio warning. It can be reactivated by pressing any coffee-making start button or the cup size adjustment button.
  • Notifications and Error Indicators: The control panel LEDs provide status updates (ready, making coffee, complete) and indicate errors such as "Level exceeded error," "Time out error," "Coffee-making error 1," "Coffee-making error 2," and "No water." In case of errors, the user is advised to switch off the product, clean the heating surface and sensor glass, and restart. If the error persists, contact authorized service.
