This appliance may be installed in an aftermarket
permanently located, manufactured home (USA only) or
mobile home where not prohibited by local codes.
This appliance is only for use with the type of gas indicated
on the rating plate. This appliance is not convertible for use
with other gases, unless a certied kit is used.
INSTALLATION, OPERATION, AND
MAINTENANCE MANUAL
- Do not store or use gasoline or other ammable vapors or
liquids in the vicinity of this or any other appliance.
- WHAT TO DO IF YOU SMELL GAS:
Do not try to light any appliance
Do not touch any electrical switch; do not use any
phone in your building
Leave the building immediately
Immediately call your gas supplier from a neighbor's
phone. Follow the gas suppliers instructions
If you can not reach your gas supplier, call the re
department
- Installation and service must be performed by a qualied
installer, service agency or the gas supplier.

      If the flames on your Archgard Indoor Fireplace's main burner are low even when the remote is set to high, wait two minutes. The Dynamic Start Advantage feature starts on low to build a draft, automatically increasing the flame size after two minutes. If the issue persists, have a service technician check for low inlet pressure or replace the valve motor.

      If the pilot igniter sparks but the pilot of your Archgard Indoor Fireplace won't light, verify the inlet gas pressure is within acceptable limits. Check all connections to the gas valve. Ensure fuel supply valves and the emergency shut-off valve are open. Check wiring connections from the control board to the valve. Make sure the pilot is set to the correct fuel and ensure the pilot head is clear of debris.

      If the pilot of your Archgard Indoor Fireplace lights, but the main burner won't light and the igniter continues to spark, check the pilot flame sensor rod and clean it with steel wool if dirty. Also, check the pilot hood and clean it with steel wool if it's dirty. Ensure the flame sensor wire is properly plugged into the control board and is not damaged. Adjust the pilot flame using the pilot adjustment screw if the flame is too long or too short, ensuring it fully engulfs the sensor rod and is stable. Check the supply pressure and ensure the ground wire from the pilot is connected to the fireplace ground location.

      If the pilot of your Archgard Indoor Fireplace was lit but randomly goes out, turn the fireplace on again. If it's in continuous pilot on-demand ignition mode, the system will turn off the pilot if the fireplace hasn't been used for seven days. You may also switch the fireplace to IPI mode. Have a service technician check for low inlet pressure.

      If the pilot igniter of your Archgard Indoor Fireplace won't spark, ensure the ON/OFF override jumper is installed correctly. Also, ensure main power is ON and new batteries are installed in the remote control (3 x AAA) and backup battery pack on the control board (4 x AA). Make sure the remote is synced with the control board. Check the 3.15A fuse in the control board, replacing it if necessary. Ensure the remote is not in smart or thermostat mode. Finally, ensure the igniter wire is connected to the control board and is not damaged.
