Overview

The Arctic Air™ Tower 2.0 is an evaporative air cooling tower designed to provide cool, refreshing air by pulling in hot air through its evaporative air-cooling filter. This powerful room cooler is intended for household use and offers several features to enhance user comfort and convenience.

Function Description:

The core function of the Arctic Air™ Tower 2.0 is to cool the surrounding air through an evaporative process. Hot air is drawn into the unit, passes through a specialized evaporative filter, and is then released as cool, refreshing air. This process is designed to provide instant cooling comfort in various indoor environments. The device is equipped with a water tank that needs to be filled with cold water, and for enhanced cooling, an "Ice Boost" pack can be utilized. The unit operates with multiple fan speeds and includes a "Turbo Mode" for maximum airflow and cooling when desired. It also features an oscillation function to provide wide-coverage cooling across a room.

Usage Features:

The Arctic Air™ Tower 2.0 is designed for straightforward operation with several user-friendly features:

  • Assembly: The device requires a simple assembly process. First, the unit is placed down with the front grill facing up. The two halves of the base are then assembled by inserting tabs into slots. The assembled base is aligned with the main tower unit, and the power cord is pulled through a central hole. Tower pegs are inserted into base slots, and the base is turned clockwise until it locks in place. Finally, the excess power cord slack is pulled through the hole, and the cord is plugged into a wall outlet.

  • Ice Boost: For optimal cooling, an "Ice Boost" pack is included. To use it, the top of the ice pack is unscrewed, filled with cold water, and placed in a freezer until frozen. Once frozen, the ice pack is slid into a designated slot in the unit's drawer. This process can be repeated as needed when the Ice Boost is no longer cold. It is recommended to freeze and place the Ice Boost in the water tank prior to filling the tank to prevent overfilling and spilling, which also helps cool the water quicker for better results.

  • Filling the Tank: The water tank is located at the backside of the unit and is accessed by pulling out a drawer. Users should fill the tank with cold water using a pitcher or other container, ensuring it reaches the "MAX" line but is at least above the "MIN" line for the water pump to function properly. Using cold water and/or the Ice Boost is recommended for best results. It is crucial not to use the Arctic Air™ Tower 2.0 without the filter, as water may leak out onto the floor. Some condensation on the front grill is normal.

  • Fan Speed: The unit offers three fan speeds: High, Medium, and Low. The desired speed can be selected by pressing the fan speed button on the top control panel.

  • Turbo Mode: For maximum airflow and cooling, a "Turbo Mode" is available. This mode is activated by pressing the "+" button.

  • Light Settings: The brightness of the unit's lights can be adjusted to dimmer or brighter settings based on user preference. The lights default to high brightness. Pressing the light button allows adjustment to half-brightness or to turn the lights off completely.

  • Timer: An auto-off timer can be set for 2, 6, 8, or 12 hours. Users simply press the timer button until the desired duration is selected. To cancel the timer, the button is pressed until the timer indicator is no longer lit.

  • Oscillation: The Arctic Air™ Tower 2.0 features built-in wide-coverage oscillation. Pressing the oscillation button once initiates continuous oscillation. Pressing it again will stop the unit at its current position.

Maintenance Features:

Regular maintenance is essential to keep the Arctic Air™ Tower 2.0 in optimal working condition and to ensure its longevity.

  • Filter Access and Cleaning: The filter is accessed by removing the front grill. This is done by pressing a tab on the top of the grill and setting the grill aside. The filter can then be pulled out using the finger cut-out on its top.

    • Weekly Cleaning: It is recommended to clean the Arctic Air™ Tower 2.0 and its filter weekly.
    • Filter Replacement: The filter should be replaced every 3-6 months.
    • Cleaning Methods: The filter can be cleaned in two ways:
      • Dishwasher: Place the filter in the top-rack of a dishwasher and run a normal cycle. After the cycle, remove and let it air dry.
      • Hand Wash: Hand wash the filter gently with warm water and soap. Shake out excess water and let it air dry.
    • Mold/Musty Smell: If mold is observed on the filter or a musty smell is detected, stop using the unit and clean the filter immediately. Soak the cartridge in equal parts clean water and white vinegar for 45-60 minutes. Rinse with warm water, wring out, and let it air dry before further use.
  • Unit Cleaning:

    • To prepare for cleaning, run the Arctic Air™ Tower 2.0 until all water has emptied from the water tank. Alternatively, hold the unit over a sink and carefully dump out any remaining water to avoid splashing or spilling.
    • If the water tank appears dirty, use a small, bendable brush (such as a toothbrush or bottle brush) to carefully clean the inside of the tank until it is clean. Rinse the tank with warm water.

Important Warnings and Recommendations:

  • Do not carry the unit when filled with water. Some water may remain even if the tank appears empty.
  • Use only clean water; distilled water is recommended if needed.
  • The device works best in non-polluted areas, as large dust/dirt particles can reduce its lifetime.
  • Use only in dry locations. If used in a moist environment, ensure water does not get on external areas of the product.
  • If a leak or spill occurs, unplug the unit and let it dry for 24 hours before normal use.
  • Avoid placing the unit in direct sunlight for extended periods.
  • Before storing the unit for extended periods, empty the water tank, turn the unit on, and set it to the highest fan speed for at least 4 hours to dry out the filter and inside of the unit.
  • Only use the original power adapter and cord provided.
  • Do not touch the power supply or cord with wet hands.
  • Unplug the unit when cleaning, removing/replacing the filter, or moving it.
  • For best results, place the unit on a higher surface like a table or countertop.
  • Do not place the unit near heaters or other electrical equipment.
  • Avoid placing the device in passageways or high-traffic areas where it could be tripped over or knocked down.
  • Do not allow foreign objects inside the unit.
  • Do not place items on top of the unit.

  • The device can only be completely switched off when disconnected from the power supply.
  • The manufacturer is not responsible for damage due to failure to comply with this product guide.
