How to fix an inoperative electric starter on an Argo 6x6 Vanguard?
    • C
      Christopher TaylorAug 20, 2025
If the electric starter on your Argo Utility Vehicle is inoperative, begin by cleaning and re-tightening all electrical connections to address potential looseness. If that doesn't work, check the battery charge; recharge it or replace the battery if needed. If the problem persists, the starter motor may be faulty, requiring service by an Argo dealer.

How to fix inoperative electric starter on Argo 6x6 Vanguard Utility Vehicle?
    • T
      thomassuttonAug 23, 2025
If the electric starter on your Argo Utility Vehicle isn't working, start by checking for loose electrical connections and clean and re-tighten them. If that doesn't solve the issue, the battery charge may be low or dead; recharge the battery or replace it if necessary. If the problem persists, the starter motor may be faulty, and you should return the vehicle to an Argo dealer for servicing.

What to do if Argo Utility Vehicle engine turns over but will not start?
    • M
      mthompsonAug 26, 2025
If your Argo Utility Vehicle engine turns over but won't start, first ensure the choke is pulled out if the engine is cold. If the fuel tank is empty, refill it. A blocked fuel or air filter could also be the culprit; remove any obstruction or replace the filter if needed. Also, check that electric fuel pump is operating and make sure fuel shut off solenoid is activated to allow fuel into carburetor (Kawasaki engine only). Other potential issues include defective or fouled spark plugs (clean, re-gap, or replace them), a carburetor adjustment that's too lean (adjust as detailed in the engine manufacturer’s manual), or an inoperative ignition system (have it serviced by a trained mechanic). For insufficient compression, take the vehicle to a factory-authorized engine repair outlet.

Why Argo 6x6 Vanguard Utility Vehicle pulls to the right?
    • A
      Anna ClarkAug 28, 2025
If your Argo Utility Vehicle is pulling to the right, first, inflate all tires to the correct pressure if the right tire pressure is too low or the left tire pressure is too high. Also, ensure the steering lever is held forward against the dash. If required, adjust the brake assembly if the right brake is engaged. If the right side drive chain is broken, repair or replace it.

What to do if Argo 6x6 Vanguard Utility Vehicle will not move or turn?
    • M
      Megan RossAug 30, 2025
If your Argo Utility Vehicle won't move or turn, make sure the transmission is properly engaged in gear. If the drive belt is worn, replace it. If the clutch isn't engaging or there's a transmission failure, return the vehicle to an Argo dealer for servicing. Check the brakes and adjust the caliper or replace the brake pads if they're not functioning. Additionally, inspect the idler chain and repair or replace it if broken. If the idler sprocket weld is broken, have the vehicle serviced by an Argo dealer.

Why is my Argo Utility Vehicle experiencing severe vibration?
    • C
      Christopher CastanedaSep 2, 2025
If you experience severe vibration when operating your Argo Utility Vehicle, take the vehicle to an Argo dealer for service if the engine is loose on its mounts or if the driver, driven clutch, or engine is defective. Alternatively, remove and straighten or replace a bent axle. Replace a bent wheel rim. Replace a worn or damaged drive belt, and consider clutch service.

Why Argo 6x6 Vanguard hydraulic brakes are spongy?
    • D
      Dean PierceSep 4, 2025
If the hydraulic brakes on your Argo Utility Vehicle feel spongy, or there is excessive steering lever travel, have an Argo dealer bleed the brake system and add fluid if there's air in the hydraulic system. If there's a leak in the system, have an Argo dealer check all fittings, hoses, calipers, and seals for loose connections or leakage and refill as needed. If the brakes are loose, adjust or tighten them.

How to fix air leaking from Argo 6x6 Vanguard Utility Vehicle tire?
    • E
      Edgar HolmesSep 7, 2025
If your Argo Utility Vehicle tire leaks air, remove the tire from the rim and repair the hole with a radial tire patch or install a tube in the tire if the tire is punctured. If the tire is not properly seated on the bead, deflate the tire and carefully push the tire bead off the rim, clean the rim bead area to remove dirt and foreign matter, and re-inflate the tire. If the position of the air leak is not obvious, submerge the tire and rim in a water tank to check for air escaping through the rim halves or the valve stem, then repair as required. Replace a defective valve.

    • G
      ghallSep 9, 2025
