  If your Argos Ventilation Hood's suction performance is lacking, it could be due to several factors. First, ensure the distance between the hood and the cooking top is within the range of 65-75cm. Also, make sure you've selected a motor speed that's appropriate for the amount of fumes. Finally, a dirty filter can significantly reduce suction, so clean the filter as described in the “Care and Maintenance” section.
