Notes and Maintenance
Before you begin installation, read all instructions thoroughly.
Proper tools will improve the quality of installation and reduce the time required.
To protect the product, wax after installing. Regular waxing is recommended
to add a protective layer over the finish. Do not use any type of polish or wax
that may contain abrasives that could damage the finish.
For polished, gloss and other smooth finishes,
polish may be used to clear small scratches and scuffs on the finish.
Mild automotive detergent may be used to clean the product.
Do not use dish detergent, abrasive cleaners, abrasive pads,
wire brushes or other similar products that may damage the finish.
Refer to the table to the left when securing hardware during the
installation process to help prevent damage to the product or vehicle.

General Installation and Care

Installation Steps

Step 1: Remove Stock Fender Flare

Remove push-in retainers and hex bolts to detach the original fender flare.

Step 2: Position and Mark

Align the new fender flare and mark mounting locations on the vehicle body.

Step 3: Drill New Mounting Holes

Drill new holes (25/64" or 10mm) if factory holes do not align, ensuring correct size for rivnuts.

Step 4: Prepare Rivnut Tool

Assemble the rivnut tool with the left-handed nut, spacer, flat washer, and rivnut.

Step 5: Install Rivnuts

Insert rivnut and use the tool to compress it into the drilled hole without over-tightening.

Step 6: Trim Inner Fender Flare

Place the plastic inner fender flare, mark for trimming, cut carefully, and check fit.

Step 7: Mount Fender Flare

Lift the ARIES fender flare into place and thread the supplied hardware.

Step 8: Reinstall Inner Fender

Reinstall the inner fender well using stock hardware, with optional zip ties for a tight fit.

Step 9: Tighten Hardware

Tighten all hardware using a 10mm socket and repeat the process for the passenger side.

Step 10: Final Inspection

Confirm all mounting hardware is tight and refer to maintenance section for ongoing care.
