Do not place the appliance or the power cord near or oYer hot electric or gas
stoYes or near a microwaYe oYen.
Fully unwind the power cord before use.
7he appliance must not be powered by e[ternal timers or separate remote-con-
trolled systems.
,f the appliance produces black smoke during operation immediately unplug
the appliance from the power outlet. Do not remoYe the basket from the cooking
compartment. :ait for the smoke to stop. Contact the nearest authorized techni-
cal serYice centre to solYe the problem.
1eYer add liTuid ingredients into the basket. ,f necessary for cooking needs add
small Tuantities of liTuid. Always check that the liTuid has been absorbed by the
solid ingredients before adding more.
1eYer e[ceed the ma[imum capacity when ¿lling the basket.
Do not obstruct the air intake when the appliance is operational to aYoid material
damage andor the appliance oYerheating.
Put the ingredients only into the basket to preYent the food from touching the
electric resistances.
Always ensure the basket is properly inserted in the cooking compartment be-
fore starting the appliance.

Do not use the appliance outdoors.

After unplugging the appliance and when hot parts haYe cooled down only clean
the appliance using a damp non-abrasiYe cloth and a few drops of mild non-
aggressiYe detergent.
1eYer use solYents that damage plastic parts.

Place the appliance at a distance of at least 10 cm from walls furniture or other
appliances.
