  If the coffee does not come out, it might be due to several reasons. First, ensure there is enough water in the boiler. If not, repeat the process with the correct amount of water. Also, check if too much ground coffee was put in the funnel filter, preventing a tight seal. In that case, repeat the operation with the right amount of coffee. Clean any coffee residue from the seal with a toothpick or sponge. If the exit holes of the disc filter are clogged, turn off and unplug the machine, wait for it to cool, and clean the holes with a small brush or pin. Replace the seal if it is burnt or torn. Finally, make sure the carafe is tightly screwed onto the boiler without forcing the handle.

  If the coffee is not supplied or flows too slowly, the exit holes of the disc filter may be clogged. Turn off the machine, unplug it, wait for it to cool, and then clean the disc filter holes using a small brush or pin. Also, the coffee blend might be ground too fine; try using coarser coffee blends. If the coffee blend is pressed down too much, put a smaller amount of coffee into the funnel filter. Lastly, if lime has formed on the bottom of the boiler, descale the appliance.

  If the coffee is too watery and cold, it could be because the blend has been ground too coarsely. Use a more finely ground blend for a more concentrated and hotter coffee. Also, check if too much water has been put inside. If so, repeat the operation using the correct amount of water, filling up to the safety valve when using the four cups of coffee funnel filter, or beneath the safety valve when using the two cups of coffee adaptor disc.
