  Several factors can affect the ventilation of your Arietta Ventilation Hood. The hood might be too high from the cooktop; adjust the distance to between 24” and 30”. The wind from opened windows or doors might interfere, so close them. There could be a blockage in the duct opening or ductwork, which you should remove. The duct opening direction might be against the wind, so adjust it. Finally, the ducting size might be wrong; change it to at least 8” or higher.

  If the light works, but the motor isn't turning in your Arietta Ventilation Hood, the thermally protected system may have detected that the motor is too hot. The motor will function properly after the thermally protected system cools down.
