Do you have a question about the Ariston ABSE VLS PRO PW 30 and is the answer not in the manual?
This document is a user manual for the Ariston ABSE VLS PRO PW 30 electric water heater, providing comprehensive information on its installation, operation, maintenance, and safety guidelines across multiple languages including Russian, Kazakh, Ukrainian, and English.
The Ariston ABSE VLS PRO PW 30 is an electric water heater designed to provide hot water for domestic use. It features various operational modes and safety mechanisms to ensure efficient and safe performance. The device is equipped with an electronic control panel for setting water temperature, activating different functions like ECO and POWER modes, and displaying operational status and error codes. Some models include Wi-Fi connectivity for remote control and monitoring via a mobile application.
The water heater is available in several volume capacities: 30, 50, 80, and 100 liters. The product range includes models with different weights and installation types (vertical). Electrical specifications:
General Operation: The water heater is controlled via an electronic panel, which typically includes buttons for POWER, ECO, and temperature adjustment (up/down arrows). The display shows the current water temperature and operational status.
Temperature Regulation and Activation of Functions: The temperature can be set between 30°C and 80°C. The "ECO" function, when activated, optimizes energy consumption by learning user habits and automatically adjusting the water heating schedule. The "POWER" function provides maximum heating power for faster water heating.
HOT WATER LEVEL (models with interface, shown in Fig. 8a): Indicators on the display show the level of hot water inside the heater. When the water temperature is being set, the indicators light up to visually check the set level. During heating, the indicators light up gradually, increasing with the temperature inside the product.
ECO FUNCTION (models with interface, shown in Fig. 8a): This function is a software program that automatically "learns" user consumption levels, reducing heat dispersion while maximizing energy saving. The ECO software program requires an initial memorization period that lasts one week, during which the product starts operating at the set temperature. At the end of this "learning" week, the software program adjusts the water heating according to the user's actual needs, which are automatically identified by the appliance. The product guarantees a minimum hot water reserve even when there are no water withdrawals. The learning process regarding hot water requirements continues even after the first week. To activate the function, press the "ECO" button. If the product is switched off and then on again, the function will keep learning the consumption levels.
POWER FUNCTION: The "POWER" function allows the device to function at maximum power, thus reducing the time required to heat the water. To activate or deactivate the POWER function, press the corresponding button. If the function is active, the corresponding LED will be lit.
ANTI-FREEZE FUNCTION: The anti-freeze function automatically protects the appliance, preventing damages caused by very low temperatures (below 5°C), if the product is switched off during the winter season. It is recommended to leave the product connected to the mains electricity, even in case of prolonged inactivity.
THERMAL DISINFECTION FUNCTION (Anti-Legionella): This function is activated by default. It consists of a water heating/60°C temperature maintenance cycle for 1 hour, which has a thermal disinfection action on the relative bacteria. The cycle starts when the product is started up and when it is restarted after a power outage. If the product always functions at temperatures lower than 55°C, the cycle is repeated every 30 days. When the product is switched off, the anti-Legionella function is deactivated.
Wi-Fi Function (models with interface, shown in Fig. 8a): Some models offer Wi-Fi connectivity, allowing users to control and monitor the water heater remotely via a mobile application. Registration and setup procedures are detailed in the manual, including connecting to the Wi-Fi network and activating the account. The Wi-Fi module status is indicated by blinking patterns on the display.
Reset/Diagnostics: In case of a malfunction, the appliance enters "fault mode," and the status indicator (Fig. 8a/8b.1) will light up red and flash. The display will show "Er" flashing, alternating with the relevant error code. A list of error codes and their descriptions is provided in the manual, such as internal malfunction of the circuit board, broken temperature probes, excessive water temperature, and communication failures.
Periodic Maintenance: Regular maintenance is crucial for the longevity and safe operation of the water heater. It should be performed by qualified personnel.
Emptying the Appliance: The appliance must be emptied if it is to be left unused for a long period or in premises subject to frost. To drain the appliance, disconnect it from the electricity mains, close the shut-off valve, open the drain hose, and open the hot water tap.
Replacing Parts: The manual provides instructions for replacing various components, including the control panel, heating elements, and the flange gasket. These procedures require disassembling parts of the water heater and should ideally be performed by qualified personnel. Only original spare parts should be used.
Safety Precautions:
This manual emphasizes the importance of professional installation and maintenance to ensure safety and to maintain the manufacturer's warranty. It also provides contact information for service centers and technical support.
