installation
The receiver, when connected to a heat generator, receives the signal from the outdoors wireless
sensor and transforms it into an analogue signal.
The data is transmitted wirelessly, no electrical connection to the outdoors sensor is required.
Positioning and installation
Install the receiver near to the boiler and well away from electromagnetic fi elds (for example:
televisions, computers, refrigerators, microwave ovens), as these could a ect the operation of the
device. Take extra care when positioning the device near lifts, stairways and metal wall structures,
as these may have an isolating e ect with regard to signal transmission and reception.

Warning!
Installation should be performed by a quali-
fi ed technician.
Before connecting the receiver, disconnect
the power supply.
Wall installation
- Open the cover by pressing lightly on the
tab at the bottom of the receiver (Fig. 1).
- Fix the receiver’s base to the wall at the
chosen position, using the plugs and
screws supplied with the kit (Fig. 2).
Electrical connections
to the heat generators
Before making any connections, shut o pow-
er to the heat generator with its external two-
position switch. Connect the receiver’s power
supply to the heat generator’s controller with
the BUS connector (check its orientation).
Connect the receiver’s outdoors temperature
signal output to the heat generator’s control-
ler with the SE connector (check the orienta-
tion as shown in the connection diagrams).
Check that the receiver’s green led is on. If the
receiver has not yet been associated with any
outdoors sensor its red led will be on.
Association procedure (outdoors sensor and
receiver):
- Position the wireless outdoor sensor near
the receiver.

- Check that the connection between the
receiver and the heat generator has been
completed successfully (green led on)
(Fig.3) as instructed in the receiver hand-
book.
- Open the cover of the outdoors sensor by
undoing the two screws.
To operate correctly, the wireless receiver
must receive the identifi cation signal from the
transmitter (outdoors sensor).
