Usage Features

The washer-dryer offers a variety of wash and drying cycles, customizable through its control panel and display.

  • Control Panel:
    • ON/OFF button: To switch the machine on or off. A slow green flash of the START/PAUSE light indicates the machine is on. Holding for 3 seconds during a cycle cancels it.
    • WASH CYCLE SELECTOR KNOB: To choose from various wash cycles.
    • CLEANING ACTION button: To select desired wash intensity (Intensive for heavy soil, Delicate for light soil/delicate fabrics).
    • TEMPERATURE button: To adjust or exclude the wash temperature.
    • SPIN button: To adjust or exclude the spin cycle.
    • DELAY TIMER button: To set a delayed start for the wash cycle.
    • DRYING button: To decrease or exclude drying, or set drying level/time.
    • DRYING ONLY button: To run a drying cycle independently.
    • START/PAUSE button: To start, pause, or resume a cycle. Green light indicates running, amber flash indicates paused.
    • CHILD LOCK button: To lock the control panel (except ON/OFF) by holding for 2 seconds, preventing accidental changes.
  • Display: Shows cycle duration, remaining time, delayed start countdown, and current wash/drying phases. Icons indicate temperature, spin, and drying settings. A "DOOR LOCKED" symbol indicates when the door cannot be opened.
  • Wash Cycles: Includes Daily Wash & Dry, Shirts Wash & Dry, Pre Iron, Steam Refresh, Cotton, Synthetics, Anti-Stain Quick, Anti-Stain, White, Eco Cotton, Multicolor, Ultradelicates, Wool, and Fast. Partial programs include Rinse, Spin+Pump out, and Pump out only.
  • Drying Cycles: Can be set based on desired laundry dryness level (Iron, Hanger, Cupboard) or a set time period (30-210 minutes). A cooling-down period is always added.
  • Detergent Dispenser Drawer: Divided into compartments for wash detergent (powder or liquid) and additives (fabric softeners). A removable plastic partition is provided for liquid detergent dosage.
  • Load Balancing System: Before each spin, the drum rotates continuously to distribute the load uniformly, reducing vibrations and noise. If unbalanced, the machine spins at a reduced speed or performs redistribution.

Maintenance Features

Regular maintenance is crucial for the appliance's longevity and performance.

  • Cutting off Water and Electricity: Turn off the water tap after each cycle and unplug the washer-dryer during cleaning or maintenance.
  • Cleaning the Washer-Dryer:
    • Exterior and Rubber Components: Clean with a soft cloth soaked in lukewarm soapy water. Avoid solvents or abrasives.
    • Internal Parts (Auto Clean): The machine has an "Auto Clean" program (program A) that should be run every 40 wash cycles with no load in the drum. A small amount of detergent (10% of the quantity for lightly-soiled garments) or special additives can be used.
    • Detergent Dispenser Drawer: Remove and wash under running water frequently.
    • Door and Drum: Leave the porthole door ajar after use to prevent unpleasant odors.
    • Pump: The self-cleaning pump requires no maintenance, but small items might fall into its pre-chamber. To access, remove the cover panel on the lower front, unscrew the lid, clean thoroughly, and reassemble.
    • Water Inlet Hose: Check at least once a year for cracks and replace if necessary. Only use the hoses supplied with the machine.
