Battery Performance
Arizer Batteries meet rigorous quality standards. With normal use they will last for hundreds
of charge cycles before losing any capacity. Dropping the battery or the unit can result in
battery damage that may limit / reduce the battery capacity quickly, so it is important to
handle your unit carefully.
Battery Charge
Depending on the temperature setting and general usage patterns the Solo II battery will
typically last for 3 hours of use per charge. The battery will take 3 hours to fully charge, or
longer if you use it while charging.
Use While Charging
If your battery is running low, with the Solo II you don’t have to wait for the battery to fully
charge before you can use it. Just partially charge the battery (5-10 minutes) and then you
can set the temperature and use the Solo II while the battery continues charging. Note: The
Solo II will not operate if the battery is completely drained.
Battery Conservation
The Solo II and Solo II Chargers have built-in protections to prevent the battery from being
overcharged or drained too low. To conserve battery life, use the Solo II in a
temperature-controlled environment and use lower temperature settings. When outdoors,
stay sheltered from the elements and avoid using in extremely cold temperatures. Charge
the battery as necessary. Do not store the Solo II with the battery fully charged or fully
drained for longer than one month (store with partial charge).

Overview

The Arizer Solo II is a compact, lightweight, and completely portable multi-purpose micro-heater designed for convenient use and easy transport. It fits comfortably in the palm of your hand, pocket, or purse, making it an ideal companion for on-the-go use. The device is equipped with a range of accessories to enhance its functionality and user experience.

Function Description

The primary function of the Arizer Solo II is to act as a multi-purpose micro-heater, likely for vaporizing aromatic botanicals, given the inclusion of glass aroma tubes, an aroma dish, and a sample of aromatic botanicals. Users can load their preferred botanicals into the glass aroma tubes, which are then heated by the device to release their aromatic properties. The device is designed to provide a controlled heating environment, allowing users to customize their experience by selecting different temperature settings. The inclusion of filter screens suggests a mechanism for filtering the vapor or air path, ensuring a cleaner and smoother experience. The device is powered by a battery, offering cordless operation for enhanced portability.

Usage Features

The Arizer Solo II offers several features designed to optimize its usage and user convenience.

  • Portability and Design: Its compact and lightweight design ensures it is highly portable, fitting easily into a pocket or purse. The inclusion of a belt-clip carry case further enhances its portability, allowing users to keep the device secure and accessible while on the move.
  • Battery Performance and Charging: The device is powered by Arizer batteries, which are built to rigorous quality standards and are expected to last for hundreds of charge cycles under normal use. The battery typically provides approximately 3 hours of use per charge, depending on the temperature setting and general usage patterns. A full charge takes about 3 hours, though it may take longer if the device is used while charging.
  • Use While Charging: A significant convenience feature is the ability to use the Solo II while it is charging. If the battery is low, users do not need to wait for a full charge; a partial charge of 5-10 minutes is sufficient to begin using the device while it continues to charge. However, it's important to note that the Solo II will not operate if the battery is completely drained.
  • Temperature Control: The device allows users to set specific temperatures, which is crucial for optimizing the vaporization of different botanicals. This control enables a personalized experience, as different botanicals may release their desired properties at varying temperatures.
  • Accessories for Enhanced Experience: The Solo II comes with a variety of accessories that contribute to its versatile usage. The two glass aroma tubes (90mm and 110mm) offer different capacities or draw resistances, allowing users to choose based on their preference. The glass aroma dish suggests an alternative use, possibly for diffusing aromas into a room. The silicone stem caps are useful for protecting the glass tubes and their contents when not in use or during transport. A stainless steel stirring tool is included for managing botanicals within the tubes, ensuring even heating and efficient use. The four stainless steel filter screens provide replacements, ensuring a consistent and clean experience over time. A sample of aromatic botanicals is also included, allowing users to immediately experience the device's capabilities.
  • Worldwide Compatibility: The device is equipped with an input capacity of 110-240V and international safety certifications, making it suitable for use worldwide without the need for voltage converters.

Maintenance Features

Maintaining the Arizer Solo II involves careful handling and adherence to charging guidelines to ensure longevity and optimal performance.

  • Battery Conservation: The Solo II and its chargers incorporate built-in protections to prevent overcharging or draining the battery too low, which helps in conserving battery life. To further extend battery life, it is recommended to use the device in a temperature-controlled environment and opt for lower temperature settings when possible. When using the device outdoors, users should seek shelter from the elements and avoid extremely cold temperatures, as these conditions can impact battery performance.
  • Storage Recommendations: For long-term storage (longer than one month), it is advised not to store the Solo II with a fully charged or completely drained battery. Instead, storing it with a partial charge is recommended to maintain battery health.
  • Handling Precautions: The manual emphasizes the importance of handling the unit carefully. Dropping the device or the battery can lead to battery damage, which may quickly limit or reduce its capacity. This highlights the need for gentle handling to preserve the device's functionality and battery life.
  • Cleaning Accessories: While not explicitly detailed as a maintenance feature, the inclusion of multiple filter screens and a stirring tool implies that regular cleaning and replacement of parts are part of the maintenance routine to ensure optimal performance and hygiene. The glass components (aroma tubes and dish) are typically easy to clean, contributing to the overall maintainability of the device.
