Fig 5. 6. If the fan is not to be used with light fitted,
remove the lamp output wires by unscrewing
their terminals at the terminal block under
the lower canopy and pulling them out
through the hub of the motor. Fit the
decorative nut. If light is to be fitted, fit the
light to the front hub of the motor by the
threaded adaptor supplied with the light
fitting, feeding the lamp wires through the
adaptor. Slip the fibreglass sleeve provided
over the lamp wires and down through the
adaptor. Fit the lamp wires to terminals on
the light fitting. See Fig 7.
Important Note: Do not overtighten glass
fixing screws/knob or glass may crack.
7. Tighten the lower canopy set screw and
locknut. Ensure that the set screw is
tightened against the downrod first, then
tighten the locknut to ensure good electrical
and mechanical fixing of the lower canopy
to the downrod.
8. Fit the controller. The controller will fit
standard wall plate mountings. Wire the
controller in accordance with Fig 3. Fit to
wall. Fit screw caps.
9. Check all wiring, switch power on at
switchboard, check operation.
