DISCOVERY BAR
The Discovery Bar is the bar of images at
the top of TiVo Central and most other
screens. It helps you find shows based on
shows you rate with the THUMBS UP and
THUMBS DOWN buttons on your remote.
Press the UP arrow to move up to the
Discovery Bar, then the LEFT and RIGHT
arrows to choose an item. Press the SELECT
button to open an information screen
about that item.

What to Watch Now helps you sort
through your viewing options by
showing you what’s available to watch
right now in an easy-to-use format.
Choose from shows currently airing on
live TV, live sports events, movies, and more!
TIVO SUGGESTIONS: TIVO KNOWS WHAT YOU LIKE!
Based on the ratings you give to shows and movies, TiVo Suggestions
automatically selects and records shows you might like and puts
them in “Suggestions” folders in your My Shows list. To turn
off automatic recording of TiVo Suggestions, from TiVo Central ,
select SETTINGS & MESSAGES > SETTINGS > RECORDING > TIVO
SUGGESTIONS. When automatic recording is on (the default setting),
TiVo Suggestions may be recorded if there’s available space.
Recordings you schedule will never be deleted to make room
for Suggestions.

SEARCH: FIND WHAT YOU
LOVE TO WATCH
From TiVo Central, select FIND TV, MOVIES
& VIDEOS, then select SEARCH. Enter a few
letters of the show title or actor name, and
the EXP interface searches across TV and
the Internet to find matches.
GUIDE: FIND OUT WHAT’S ON
Press the GUIDE button on your remote
to find out what’s on now, and what’s
coming up. Use the arrow keys to move
around the guide. Press the CHANNEL
UP/ DOWN button to page up or down,
and press ADVANCE to move 24 hours
ahead and REPL AY to move 24 hours back.

Search by actor, director, keyword or
category, and every time a match is found,
it’s recorded for you. From TiVo Central,
