General

Attach the keel to the blending board using the keel bolt, selecting the correct position for table or lap use.

For lap use, loosen the keel bolt, position the keel between knees with handle away, and rotate the board for comfort.

Begin at the handle end, applying thin layers of fibre onto the teeth, mixing colours and fibres as desired.

Utilize the blending brush to pack fibres into the teeth, adding layers until the board is full.

Pull fibres from the bottom to create a rolag, wrapping them around one dowel and securing with a second.

Pull dowels to stretch and card fibres, then wrap them around both dowels for drafting, creating multiple rolags.

Slide out the dowels one by one to finish the rolag, preparing the fibre for spinning into yarn.
