Usage Features

The dryer is operated via a main ON/OFF switch, a program selector knob, program selector buttons, and a start/pause button. A display unit shows program information, anticipated drying time, and error messages.

  • Language Selection: Upon first use, users can select their preferred language from 24 options.
  • Steam Programs: For steam programs, distilled water must be added to the steam generator tank. The dryer automatically fills the system with condensed water during drying.
  • Program Selection: Programs are chosen by rotating the selector knob and confirmed by pressing the button below the program.
  • Program Settings: Options include adjusting dryness level (Extra dry, Gentle dry), load size (Small, Partial, Full), and Delay Start (from 30 minutes to 24 hours).
  • Extra Functions: Additional options like Anti-crease (up to 4 hours after drying cycle) and Steam (steam finish for crease removal and refreshing) are available for certain programs.
  • Favorite Programs: Users can store up to 6 customized programs as favorites for quick access.

Maintenance Features

Regular maintenance is crucial for optimal performance and longevity of the dryer.

  • Door Net Filter: The door net filter must be cleaned after each drying cycle to remove lint and fibers.
  • Condensate Tank: The condensate tank should be emptied after each drying cycle. If connected to a drain, manual emptying is not required.
  • Heat Pump Filter: The heat pump filter, including its foam part, needs to be cleaned regularly, at least every 10 drying cycles or if necessary. The foam filter can be washed in a washing machine on a low spin speed.
  • Heat Exchanger: The metal fins of the heat exchanger should be cleaned with a vacuum cleaner and a soft brush attachment at least every twelve months. Caution is advised to avoid damaging the fins.
  • Steam Generator Tank Filter and Self-Cleaning System: The steam generator tank filter and self-cleaning system should be cleaned each time the condensate tank is emptied.
  • Steam Generator Tank Emptying: Before transporting or storing the dryer in a non-heated room, the steam generator tank must be emptied by tilting the dryer and removing a plug at the bottom.
  • Appliance Exterior: The exterior and display unit should be cleaned with a soft damp cotton cloth and water. Solvents or abrasive cleaners are not recommended.
  • Air Vents: Air vents should never be blocked.
  • Troubleshooting: The manual provides a detailed troubleshooting guide for common errors, including issues with starting, drum spinning, drying effectiveness, and unusual noises. Error codes are displayed on the unit for easier diagnosis.
