DRY NITROGEN PURGE (OPTIONAL)
A dry air purge system can be provided to reduce condensation within the chamber and on the
test item during temperature cycling. This option is primarily used to prevent a short circuit in
electronic components and is also used to lower humidity within the chamber.
To use the dry nitrogen purge:
The chamber must have been ordered with the dry nitrogen system and connected to a GN
2
source with a maximum pressure of 100 PSIG.
Close the chamber door and turn the PURGE Switch ON.
*The Nitrogen Purge is enabled through Event 1 in profile programming.
