Grooves or cuts appearing

1. Rock wedged between
hopper fl ashing and belt.
2. Material buildup under
conveyor.
3. Jaw defl ector plate.
4. Tail pulley has rock wedged

5. Inside belt plow not in place
or adjusted properly.
1. Loosen fl ashing and clean.
2. Move unit and clean-up
material.
3. Adjust to prevent material
from falling straight onto
belt.
4. Remove rocks from tail
pulley.
5. Adjust or replace belt plow.

1. Realign bearing.

4. Roller on idler not turner.

6. Pulley shaft out of line.

1. Increase tension by adjusting
take-up.
2. Equalize tension.
